Chamber Committees

The Chamber relies on the strength of its volunteers to continue its mission. Volunteering with the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce is the first step in taking full advantage of your membership in the organization. It gives you the opportunity to directly contribute to the economic prosperity of Riverside with your time and talents, while simultaneously growing professionally and developing lasting relationships with other business leaders.

There are several ways to get involved:

Ambassador Committee

The Ambassador Committee focuses its efforts on member retention. The Ambassadors serve as a resource and guide by providing important information about the Chamber by showing the various ways in which the Chamber can helps businesses. Ambassadors also help address any questions, comments, or feedback from any Chamber members. The Ambassador Committee is a vital group of dedicated volunteers who put in countless hours to help make this Chamber successful!

Accomplishments
  • The number of Ambassadors is increasing. New Ambassadors have brought fresh ideas and vitality to the group.
  • Completed member retention surveys, attempting to reach all members of the Chamber.
  • Welcomed new Chamber members through the “Member Contact Sheet” program.
  • Assisted members with many issues such as signage and relocation.
  • Received glowing testimonials of how the Chamber has assisted various businesses with their needs, issues, and concerns.
  • Volunteered at such events as: Afterhours Business Mixers, Good Morning Riverside, Grand Openings, New Members Receptions, and INSIDE meetings.
